General Working Practice:
One69a are a creative collective based in Manchester who specialise in screen printing.
We design, make and print a variety of products at our studio in Islington Mill, Manchester. All of our products are printed by hand using silk screens.
One69a also facilitate a range of creative practical projects with various schools and community groups.
In addition to this, we also run live screen printing sessions at events including festivals, gigs, private hire and corporate hire.
Mill24 Exhibition:
Part 1: In Mill24 we are opening our studio to the students of fine art sculpture at Manchester Art School, allowing them to produce 800 hand screen printed cotton bags for distribution at their degree show. The 24 hour period also allows us to show guests our printing practise and the skills needed to produce high quality clothing and posters for commercial selling.
Part 2: In Mill24 we are opening our studio to all. Visitors will be able to screen print their own t-shirts with the expertise and equipment of one69a at hand. This allows us to show guests our printing practise and the skills needed to produce high quality clothing and posters for commercial selling.

Poster exhibition celebrating the launch of local print ventures: tba magazine and the one69a collective.
tba is a monthly poster-zine committed to unearthing Manchester’s creative foundations. Hand produced and independently generated to promote the city’s diverse art and music communities.
Based at Salford’s Islington Mill, one69a mobilise the medium of screen printing to both create and educate with their workshops and live printing events. As a business they offer a bespoke and friendly service.
Together they are putting on NEW MANCHESTER, an art and music showcase taking place at their Islington Mill home on May 14 & 15. A preview of the poster exhibition will be on display at Manchester’s latest pop-up gallery, The Art Corner above Trof, Fallowfield.
